Streets - The Street View App App Reviews

This is basically google maps with street view on your phone. Overall this is a great app and highly recommend worth getting!!

Best street view app Ive found so far. Resolution of street views are better than Googles. User interface is great. Ties in with apples map application. That part is a little clunky but it works app still gets five stars.

Waste of money - marketed as companion to new Apple Maps app but does not tie into it and simply uses similar user interface of previous app (i.e. curled R lower "paper" border) but the street view functionality is clunky, advances poorly when one tries to move down a street, and does not spot advance when one taps further up a road like the current Google Maps, though it does use its current graphics. If u like Apple Maps current TomTom-powered user interface/graphics (which is crisper and more intuitive than Googles in my opinion), then use it and go to the Google Maps App for Street View or when Apple Maps is wrong about an address or phone number, which it still occasionally is. I rarely write a bad review, but here I really do feel like Ive been cheated.

Outdoor resolution is great! Indoor resolution of smaller things requiring very high resolution like paintings not so good but maybe theyd be better on a different screen. I used an iPod touch. But indoor resolution of room and objects in the room at Everest monastery was like I was there! Looking forward to increasing technology as Im disabled and cannot travel.

I enjoy looking at new locations, it helps find new houses & buildings I may be visiting for work. It also helps with directions when traveling and this does the job!

Love this App!

This is by far the best 3D maps app I have downloaded. A bit ago I discovered that on google GPS maps you could look inside certain buildings and immediately got hooked. Now not everything of course is uploaded but still a fair deal of a few museums and such. But unlike many other apps this app will allow you to browse by floor. One thing that is annoying is you cant drag the figure to a dot in the map, but this method they have is actually easier. One other drawback is that you really need to zoom in deep to see all the available dots. But probably by far the best non-gaming app I downloaded since Dolphin.

Nothing that I didn’t already have with maps and TomTom. I doubt if I will ever use it. I can’t find any info about how to remove a pin. I cant recommend it

Clean, clear interface. Love it.

There are times when the app isnt sure to which location one is referring. For some reason, they still havent fixed the bug that results in the app asking you, "Did you mean," and then nothing comes up.

It could be better integrated (probably not easy with apple maps) but once you get the hang of how to invoke it, it is a very nice tool. It makes apple maps better - worth it.

Google maps and google earth are free and does the same thing better

Excellent site but time for an update, and not just to the pictures. Not working that well with iOS 9.

OK, so, for now one star. I cannot get this to open in maps. Perhaps its my air, but I have followed the instructions in the tutorial and on the website. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Id really love for this to work!

This app has brought this planet into a perception that we could not have imagined, even after the advent of the satellite. Not only is the real picture before my eyes, but at all elevations with amazing detail. I am a cheapskate and this is a great way to travel. Thank you Google!

Love it, my go to app when unsure of my GPS destination

Is trusting and always show any request no matter where or when.

April 2016 update: Ive used this app for a good long time, but recently I have had a problem with the "routing apps" screen is getting stuck when I return to maps from inside the Streets app. I close out of maps and Streets, relaunch maps in order to "fix" it. Certainly a first-world complaint, but I thought I would mention it in case somebody else was thinking of buying the app and felt this would be a deal breaker. Minus one star for the inconvenience. Fix this minor bug and its back to 5. This is an outstanding app. Works great on iPad Mini, Mini w/ Retina, and iPhone 5. Integrates well with Apple maps. This is not some clumsy add-on. It operates and feels like its baked right in to IOS.
